Gifted Services
at Northwest Kansas Educational Service Center
October 17, 2006
Gifted Facilitators at the NKESC are dedicated to providing both direct and consultative educational services to gifted students in member districts. We are skilled at screening, evaluating, and planning educational goals and adaptations for students with high ability. We assist classroom teachers with materials and techniques that help meet the needs of gifted students in the regular classroom. We also provide monthly seminars on a variety of topics that allow our gifted students to learn and grow in an enriched environment surrounded by intellectual peers. We are available to present at in-services and workshops to assist general education staff and parents in better understanding the unique needs of gifted students.
