HR Portal Updates

Update from November 27 & 29, 2006

March 02, 2007

HR Portal Updates, November 2006

*            SCHEDULES:  Please remember your schedule is something all employees can see, making it match your daily log is just doing double duty.   The school where you will be, the setting (classroom, inservice, etc…),  and the approximate time you will be there are the only items that must be on your schedule.

*            SCHEDULES:  Reminder--schedules must be submitted before not after events take place.

*            CERTIFIED ADJUSTED LEAVE:  In order for certified staff members to take CAT, an employee leave form must be submitted and approved before it is taken.

*            DAILY LOGS:  Daily Logs MUST be submitted no later than MONDAY, of EACH WEEK!!  If you are not going to be in on Monday, submit the log on the last day you work.

*            DAILY LOGS:  Remember to check your Daily Log history for rejected logs.  Failure to check pending logs and log history could result in loss of pay.

*            PROFESSIONAL LEAVE FORM:   There are some new features on the PLF.  When “yes” is selected for “Registration Fee Required?” a purchase order window pops up at the bottom of the form titled “Order Details.”  When “yes” is selected when a lease car is needed, the lease car request will pop up.  When “yes” is selected under “Is a lodging needed?” a requisition form will pop up beneath the Lodging section.

*            PDC UPDATE:  Once a salary movement is asked for by a certified staff member on a professional leave form, a copy of the approval from “Request History” should be printed out and sent to Gerri Geist when applying for PDC Points.  It is the certified staff member’s responsibility to print the approval and send it in.

REMINDER:  Just like before the portal, please submit only ONE Expense Voucher per month!!  Submitting more than one voucher only makes more work for you, supervisors, administrators, and the business office.
