Northwest Kansas Special Education Targeted Improvement, Focused Assistance Monitoring, and Management Information System (MIS) Training Dates
To all NKESC and district certified special education staff. The MIS training dates for the 2007-2008 school year have been scheduled. They are:
August 8th, Colby Community College, Colby 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM lunch on your own
August 17th Goodland District Office, Goodland 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM CST, 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM MST lunch on your own
September 6th, NKESC, Oakley 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM lunch on your own
Attendance at an MIS training is mandatory for all certified special education staff (including district employed special educators). NKESC certified staff who choose to attend the Colby MIS training may use that has a calendar day on their contract. A full slate of topics will be discussed including major changes to Medicaid and ESY. Computers are not required for the training.
