Now that Spring has officially sprung, let me say a bit more about what offerings are on the horizon.
The newest offering (not in your Summer 09 booklets) is the Neuro-Biological Disabilities Summit on June 1st, 2nd and 3rd:
Offered on June 1st will be 'Enhancing the Social Competence of Children and Youth With Autism.'
Offered on June 2nd will be 'Understanding Tourette Syndrome at Home and in the Classroom.' Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend-admission is free, the lunch fee is $8.50 per plate. (NOTE-All attendees are required to register.)

Each day is worth 1 college credit hour through Friends University at an additional cost of $95 paid at the time of workshop.
A limited number of stipends are available through NKESC to District Member Teachers. Eligibility for the stipend requires attending ALL three days of the workshop. Contact Tricia Runkle for details at 785-672-3125, ext. 114, or registration@nkesc.org.

Also, not in the Summer booklets, on June 10th and 11th, a two-day workshop, MTSS Structuring: Leadership Training will be held. The brochure has 2 pages and is below.
