perceptual/fine motor, self-help, hearing, and vision development

needs, such as medical or financial, which are beyond the scope
of PAT
Purpose of Birth to Three Program & 3 to K Programs
Parents As Teachers (PAT) is based on the philosophy that parents are their children’s first and most influential teachers. The early years of a child’s life are critical for optimal development and provide the foundation for success in school and life. Through PAT, parents acquire the skills to help make the most of these crucial early-learning years. The program covers child development from pre-natal to Kindergarten and suggests parent activities that encourage language, intellectual, motor, and social-emotional skills.
