What We Do...

By Rick Deines

October 17, 2006

Staffed by an Educational Audiologist, Rick Deines, and one Audiologist Assistant, Cindy Fink, the Audiology Department provides services to assess the extent of hearing loss and related disorders. Rick is a hearing health care professional who is educated and trained to evaluate and treat hearing balance and related disorders.  He recommends appropriate treatment, including aural rehabilitation, hearing aids and other amplification devices.  The Audiology staff work with the hearing impaired population in both their home and educational facility. Evaluations are completed on a range from birth through age 21 years of age in the school setting. Audiology also works with assistive listening devices, consulting and administrating hearing conservation programs in the educational setting.  The Audiology Department services all the Interlocal #602 area.
