Special Education Services: Behavior Disorders

Second Chance Program

October 25, 2006

The Second Chance Program is an alternative program for students in grades
6-12. Students are placed in the program for several reasons including suspension,
expulsion, or long-term chronic behavior issues. The program consists of a
combination of computerized curriculum, offline curriculum, social skills
classes, lifeskills classes and community based instruction. Students
attending the program earn credits toward graduation with their home
school. Students also follow the calendar of their home school. For
additional information, you may contact Brenda Janzen at 672-3425 or Kurt
Brown at 672-3125, ext. 120.
