Second Chance Program
October 25, 2006
The Second Chance Program is an alternative program for students
in grades
6-12. Students are placed in the program for several reasons
including suspension,
expulsion, or long-term chronic behavior issues. The program
consists of a
combination of computerized curriculum, offline curriculum, social
skills
classes, lifeskills classes and community based instruction.
Students
attending the program earn credits toward graduation with their
home
school. Students also follow the calendar of their home school.
