Emotional Disturbance

The Ed department is made up of Special Education staff specifically trained to provide technical support and assistance to NKESC member schools in the areas of student behavior, emotional health and social skills.  Staff provides support to member school districts by working with IEP teams to identify and evaluate students with significant behavioral and social skill deficits.  Assistance focuses on a consultive model of services addressing behavior management strategies and positive behavior supports.
