KEE Program

The Kansas Equipment Exchange (KEE) Program is designed to help more Kansans obtain affordable medical equipment. In cooperation with Medicaid and other agencies, durable medical equipment (DME) that is no longer being used is returned to the program, refurbished, and made available for other Kansans to use. KEE also accepts donated equipment from individuals.  Examples of refurbished durable medical equipment include manual and power wheelchairs, hospital beds, patient lifts, shower chairs, electric and semi-electric hospital beds, communication devices and other health devices.

The Western Kansas Access Site for the Assistive Technology for Kansans Project is the contact base for requests or donations in western Kansas. Staff access the state KEE data base to find the best currently available match.

Contact Us at 1-800-KAN DO IT (1-800-526-3648) for an appointment to see if we have your needed equipment on hand.
